I was invited by Ampfy to illustrate the "Made in Brazil" campaign for FilmBrazil at Cannes, a vibrant call for international film and commercial crews to discover Brazil as a top shooting destination. The challenge: create eye-catching posters so compelling you'd want to pull one straight off the wall.
We wanted to celebrate Brazil’s unique spirit—incorporating elements like local fauna and flora, Copacabana’s iconic boardwalk pattern, palm trees, and bold colors—while avoiding anything that felt like a souvenir. The goal was something graphic, fresh, and unmistakably Brazilian.
To reflect the richness and diversity of Brazil, I mixed multiple hand-lettering styles, all drawn by hand, bringing texture, rhythm, and contrast to the visuals. Art direction was led by Ampfy, and the result was a campaign full of movement, personality, and pride.
